I drove Sarah to the airport this morning and a few hours later she texted me this picture from Florida as she heads out to sea.

Funny how far away you can get so fast.

Sarah: [on the phone] I'm going to miss you and Tea so much, of course, but it's weird.... I almost spent more time on ships this year than not. So, there's this strange familiarity that feels almost like home--

And then, as her ship got too far away from land, our connection was temporarily lost.
