Getting various affairs in order, I've spent a lot of time this week talking to customer support people on the phone.

Customer Support: Next thing on the checklist... any valuable antiques?
Me: Well... there's one antique but I don't know how valuable it is. I think just sentimental value for my wife.
Customer Support: Of course. Yes. When my mother passed away, I had all this stuff and I just couldn't get rid of it.
Me: Sure.
Customer Support: It's mostly junk. I should start getting rid of it.
Me: Maybe.
Customer Support: It's hard, though. It's all I have left of her.
Me: Sure.

My favorite, though, was the guy who said, "Wow, you sure have a lot of 5s in your account number!"
