After work I somehow got trapped in the garage behind our apartment. The cold must have expanded the wood on the poorly put-together door, wedging it shut. And the doorknob is weirdly round and frictionless. Even when I took my gloves off I couldn’t get the chilly doorknob to turn, not from being frozen, just from being weirdly ungraspable.
