I've mentioned before that when Sarah and I left for the cruise ship we were really excited to miss what was being forecasted to be a terribly rough winter. And then we were disappointed to hear that the Chicago winter we'd missed had turned out to be actually quite mild.
I didn't realize how mild, though, until recently when I learned that we are currently experiencing a record breaking span of days in Chicago without snow. So... the heavy snow we lived through last January, just days before flying to Tampa was probably the last snow that fell in Chicago. WE MISSED ZERO SNOW WHEN WE WERE GONE.
That is... disappointing.
