At one point the company's founder was giving a speech (into a megaphone) and then encouraged one or two of us to speak as well. He asked me, so, I threw together a few impromptu jokes and heartfelt words.

Afterward, a few people complimented me on the speech, but honestly, it was almost exactly the same speech I'd given two Christmases ago.
