This is the last week for a huge chunk of the performers on board. For instance, the French acrobats (one of which is pictured here) are already gone, switching ships in Belize.

All of the dancers and singers end their contracts tomorrow, as a new cast comes on for the reposition. The old cast has been plagued by mishaps this last month: deaths in the family and strange injuries (a singer scalding her foot on a curling iron, a dancer getting a hunk of her Mohawk ripped out onstage by a piece of the set). Every week they’ve been dwindling in numbers. It’s for the best that they’re getting out tomorrow before the curse claims more of them.
