Leaving Tampa for the last time. Heading out on a twelve day cruise with all new (one-time-only) stops along the way to New York, which will be our new home port. If you’re wondering who takes twelve day cruises, the answer is, apparently, very old people, and a good amount of Germans.

When our cast members talk about our new itinerary, I like to pretend that we’re stopping at all the places from the Beach Boys song ‘Kokomo.’

Mitchell: So, this week we’re stopping at Aruba, Jamaica…
Me: (very matter-of-fact) Bermuda, Bahama…
Mitchell: No, no… that’s just the song.
Me: Key Largo, Montego…
Sarah: Stop!
