trying to take a picture in Costa Maya by misterarnie
Last day in Costa Maya, unanimously agreed among our cast to be our favorite port. Cheap food and drinks, nice beaches, not too loud. Sometimes passengers ask me what my favorite port is and I say, “You know, we may be looking for different things.”

Our last moments in Costa Maya, about to jump in a cab, Sarah, Drennen and I all pulled out our cameras at the same time, thinking, we have to take a picture of something here, one last glance, but you can’t really capture it all in a picture. So… we all, simultaneously decided to take a picture of the other two, the ubiquitous ‘people taking pictures picture,’ but it turned into a strange photographic Mexican stand-off, as we each backed up trying to get the other two in the picture we were taking while unintentionally walking out of each others' pictures. A bizarre geometry challenge.

I think I was the only one to successfully get the other two in their picture.

Costa Maya was my favorite port, too. Since I had the same ports on my last ship, I love that I'm getting to relive my experience through your blog, Arnie.
