One of the tech guys for our show is the ship’s Chairman for Crew Enrichment. He plans the crew events and makes sure to let us know what parties are coming up. Earlier this week he said, “The new crew party is a White Hot Party. Wear anything but white.”
According to the Cruise Director, the White Hot Party is the “signature party” for the passengers, a party they have every week and encourage passengers to dress all in white (some do). So, the crew version of the White Hot Party was apparently the opposite. No white. Makes sense. Although we tried to explain to the Chairman for Crew Enrichment that it might be confusing since it didn’t say anywhere on the poster to not wear white. “Maybe you should call it the White Not Party or something.”
So, we went to the party not wearing white (which was easy because we probably wouldn’t have anyway) and, of course, most of the crew was wearing white (far more than the number of passengers that dress up for their White Hot Party). And the Chairman for Crew Enrichment looked very nice in his full white suit.
